If you want to save money, you can install the pump in your place by yourself. The materials that you need include a shower pump, 15 millimeters pipes, a survey flange and an isolating valve. Aside from these, you also need a thermostat, a plug point as well as a concrete paving slab.

The first thing to do is to find a place where the pump will be installed. It is important to install the pump near the cold and hot water tanks. The pump should be placed 30 below the tank filled with cold water and 4 meters below the source of hot water. The area where the pump will be placed should be well ventilated.

Install the pump on the paving slab. Mount the pipes vertically. Make sure that you are done mounting the pipes before you connect these to electricity. Connect the supply of hot water and cold water to the pipes.

Afterwards, you need to install the pipes to the isolation valve. Connect the valve to the inlet of the shower. Connect the electric switchboard to the pump and then to the bathroom. Check if the shower pump is functioning well.
